If you could only eat ONE cereal for the rest of your life, which one would you pick?
That's just a mean question.
If you had one day to spend $100,000 - and you had to spend it totally selfishly - what would you buy?
Hmm. Probably pay off my student loan in one fell swoop. I'd still owe like $10K after that but at least I could pay it off even more slowly.
Or it'd be a down payment for a house.
Or I'd spend it on a new car.
Or I'd create a family trust and put half of it in the
bank... under the mattress.
Jezebel posted/found the best clip ever by someone who's definitely a Buffy fan. I laughed out loud, and the hubby just stared. "I don't understand your nerdy ways." Well, husband, I don't understand your longstanding patience for a hockey team that will probably never make to the Stanley Cup Finals in our lifetime. Go Kings!
Anyway, here's the clip. If you're a Buffy fan, you'll appreciate it.
I had forgotten all the dialogue she spewed. Thank you, Whedon!
Does anyone know whether I can pull all of my Vox posts to archive? The FAQ doesn't seem to help, and I've sent an inquiry several months ago.
Just wondering if I have to manually go back to all my posts and copy and paste...
Should we just be handing over the car keys when kids turn 16? Why or why not?

What are you, high?
I just watched this on Bravo. I was culling data and glancing at the tv.
I remember seeing this in a movie theater. That was 1990. I was... 14 and a total Tom Cruise fan.
Now I ask myself why?
It's pretty bad. The music. The lines. Everything. I'm going to go ahead and blame the combination of Tom Cruise, Don Simpson, Jerry Bruckheimer, Nicole Kidman, and Tony Scott. Nicole Kidman as a doctor? Please. And to make her a SPECIALIZED eye doctor? Oh hell to the naw!
Well, ok, there's one good scene in there:
Someone asks,"Where's he from?"
And Randy Quaid says,"Eagle Rock."
That someone says,"Is that near [something like Virginia]?"
Randy Quaid says,"No, it's near Glendale... *beat* California."
Haha! Fine. It's only funny to me. :P
The last thing I wanted to point out which I've pointed out in a past entry about a year or so ago...
Cary Elwes.
He's like kryptonite. (Post-Princess Bride)
He's like the British version of DB Sweeney.
Poor guys.
Ah sweet. CASINO is on now. Yeah! I love this movie. Back to data....
Does anyone have recommendations on a (portable) hard drive for a Mac?
I saw several on sale on buy.com and bestbuy.com but wasn't sure how they would work with a Macbook (in reality). I'm not looking to spend more than $150.
My Macbook has 80GB and I have about 8GBs left. LOL. I mentioned it to Bubba and he was taken aback. Hey, I rip a lot of books on cd... and movies and tv shows... what can I say? About 25 GB is music, a couple movies, and about 16 books on cd. I also have a bunch of programs that suck up my hard drive space - Final Cut Express, Office 04,
I also need to back up all of my photos.
I figured I'd like something around 120-160GB so I could partition it: 1. all media and 2. everything else.
Someone...? Thoughts?
